Natural, flexible and inexpensive, willow weaving is one of the oldest and most enduring of handicrafts which has recently gained a new lease of life. From simple abstract shapes up to large animal figures, willow creations can be infinitely versatile and surprising durable and what can be more satisfying than making your own willow basket.
Willow can also be worked with as a living material to make living fences, windbreaks and archways or airy green domes, arbours or tunnels which continue to grow and provide a welcome bit of shade in summer months.
Out to Learn Willow have courses to help and inspire you to create beautiful willow structures and sculptures of your very own.
