Community Projects

Out to Learn Willow helps community groups to develop their outdoor spaces using living willow structures and also runs community based day workshops.

We can tailor individual workshops to suit your needs and requirements and we also offer a bespoke design service which includes full working drawings - contact us for a quotation.

We can also give advice on how to find funding for your project. There are many grant and award schemes to help improve grounds within the community.

Running a willow weaving course for community members is a very good way to fund a willow structure.

Our workshops are fun, engaging, and can involve any members of the community. They are available throughout the year, during the winter months living willow structures such as domes, tunnels and arbours can be constructed. In the summer, workshops for large dried willow sculptures such as badgers, owls, snails or a variety of small sculptures that include snails, boats, stars, fish are available.

Workshops are available at the cost of £295 per day exclusive of materials or we offer a build only service.

All workshops are delivered by trained teachers with a current CRB check.

We have a variety of willow kits for you to choose from or we can tailor short courses and talks to suit.
